Ovum assessed some of the top India-based ADM service providers using distributed agile for project execution, to arrive at a decision matrix. The key areas of evaluation included vendor capability, strategy execution and market impact with target customers. Each of these furthered into multiple criterions and assessments to arrive at the overall Ovum's Decision Matrix (ODM).

Infosys emerged an overall leader in the market impact dimension - due to the seamless efficiency of its consulting and delivery functions working together, offering high quality delivery experiences as identified by the agile consulting arm
It also aced the agile utilization category, made possible with concerted efforts around embracing agile as de-facto delivery methodology across its ADM business, focus on building strong talent and tooling and clear articulation of the differentiating aspects of its agile offering
In the innovation category too, Infosys topped through having developed thought leadership in agile. Big investments towards building continuous delivery solutions, DevOps toolkits and dashboards, collaboration technologies and proprietary tools like Infosys Virtual Scrum, and a strong training program for agile made this possible
Infosys also led the market evangelism and customer survey category, because of its focus on agile innovation, thought leadership, strong engineering practices, and customer education in agile
